Job Specification:
Banqueting Manager will be responsible for managing all banquets and events in the hotel, for the delivery of an excellent Guest and Member experience and optimising sales, evaluating performance, and ensuring staffing levels meet demand.
Reports to: Cluster Banqueting Director / Managing Director
The Role
• Be responsible for all Banquets/Events/conferences
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and guest satisfaction
• Manage Restaurant, minibar and Room Service, with a strong contact with customers
• Manage staff and staff performances
• Responsible for recruiting, training and developing all the new staff members (employees and seasonal)
• Contain costs and maximising sales
The candidate
• 8+ years of experience as Banqueting Manager / Supervisor
• Great communication and customer care skills
• Leadership is mandatory for this role
• Fluent knowledge of at least three - four languages
• International experience is preferred
